The Full Story

About

Hello my name is Nina McDaniel, I am the Founder of this Charity. This was a very difficult journey for me, but also a special journey as well. I am honored that God placed this chapter in the story he created just for me.

The name More Than 3 Voices comes from a journey that began long before the nonprofit was founded. I've always known that advocacy was part of my calling.  Since starting in education in 1999, I've naturally become a voice for students, families, and those who couldn't always speak up for themselves. Over time, this calling grew deeper and more personal.

In 2021, a close family member was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and a friend, and other family was diagnosed with cancer many years ago. Those chapters demanded more than just love-it demanded advocacy, strength, and persistence. I had to become a voice/her voice in doctor's offices, in everyday decisions, and in moments where confusion and silence took over. But she wasn't the only one. Over the years, I found myself helping friends and family-making meals, setting up appointments, sitting by their side-not just as support, but as someone they trusted to speak when they couldn't.

Then, in 2022, I had a moment of clarity-spiritual-when I clearly felt:  You need to be her voice." That message stayed with me.  I planned to name the nonprofit Her Voice-but the name wasn't available. At first, I was disappointed, but then I realized something greater; it wasn't just her voice I was meant to carry. It was more than one. It was the voices of all the people I had been there for. It was the unheard, the overwhelmed, the sick, the overlooked. It was More Than Three Voices.

This name is a reminder that every person-regardless of their situation-is human. They deserve dignity, support, and the opportunity to be seen and heard, even when they can't speak for themselves. Through this nonprofit, we are honoring those voices and building a space where compassion meets action.
